Yes, the kit is designed for users of all skill levels. It includes a comprehensive assembly manual, engaging educational games, and dynamic animated videos to guide you through the building process.
Safety is a top priority. The kit includes a built-in fire extinguisher inside the battery and offers safety and riding tutorial videos to ensure a secure experience. We also have a Release of Liability Waiver available for all organizations using Lectec.
After assembly, the skateboard can reach 8mph and the scooter 10mph. Both have a range of approximately 3 miles on a full charge (per battery). One battery is included in the kit as standard and more batteries can be purchased. They must be purchased at the time of ordering the kit. You cannot use 1 old battery and 1 new battery at the same time.
The assembly process typically takes between 1.5 to 3 hours, depending on your experience level. It is great to do as a family activity!
The kit provides all necessary parts and tools to build your own electric vehicle. You'll also find everything you need to ride, including a remote, battery charger, and remote charger. If you choose the optional safety pack you will receive an additional helmet, wrist guards, and elbow pads.
