We were excited to attend Synergy Con 2024, hosted by the North Carolina Center for Afterschool Programs (NC CAP). This annual conference brought together afterschool providers, educators, and community leaders to focus on the crucial role of afterschool programs, emphasizing the theme “Everyday Influencers.” The theme was a powerful reminder of the profound impact that afterschool programs have on students’ growth, learning, and overall development. 
Synergy Con 2024 was a fantastic venue for us to share how Lectec’s hands-on STEM kits can enhance students’ afterschool experiences. At our booth, afterschool professionals and educators were able to see how our electric skateboard kits engage students in a unique blend of engineering, physics, and creativity. It was super fulfilling to see all the amazing reactions and be involved in countless awesome conversations. With hands-on projects that align with both STEM and social-emotional learning goals, our kits support NC CAP’s mission to create high-quality afterschool experiences that make learning practical, fun, and impactful.
Beyond our booth, we were inspired by the range of workshops and vibrant discussions focused on improving academic performance, fostering social-emotional learning, and creating safe and supportive spaces for students.
