We had an incredible time at the 2024 Annual Afterschool Conference hosted by the Connecticut After School Network, a special event that celebrated 35 years of dedication to afterschool professional development and envisioned the future of afterschool programming. Held with a focus on innovative learning opportunities, this conference aligned with our mission to provide hands-on STEM education through our electric vehicle kits.
Our team was thrilled to be part of a lineup that emphasized STEM Learning, Social-Emotional Learning, and Leadership Opportunities—all tracks that resonate with Lectec’s values of practical, engaging, and transformative learning. We connected with a passionate community of afterschool professionals who were eager to learn about the unique ways our kits can support STEM programming by turning students into creators and problem-solvers.
At our booth, attendees explored how our electric skateboard kits make STEM education interactive, empowering students to gain engineering, physics, and problem-solving skills in a hands-on, collaborative setting. We also enjoyed hearing stories from seasoned educators who shared their experiences with STEM programming and the evolving needs of their students. It was very rewarding to see the incredible reception of our kits, especially in the area local to our Co-Founder, Luke.
