Jared and Luke have shared a passion for electric skateboards since a young age - and was how they first met in college! Joining forces to build Lectec with the mission of providing hand on tools to transform STEM for the next generation!

Meet the Team

**Jared Ebersole - CEO**
Jared has been an entrepreneur since the age of 15, creating his first company offering build-it-yourself (BIY) electric skateboard kits for adults (ridebkb.com). Last Christmas, he built an electric skateboard for his 7 year old nephew, Brian. Brian was so interested in how everything worked that Jared ended up taking the board apart to explain how everything came together to build the board he had so much fun on. And just like that, the idea for Lectec was born!

**Luke St. Amand - CTO**
Luke has professional product and engineering experience with several companies, most recently at Amazon. He is passionate about encouraging the next generation to see all the amazing and fun possibilities of STEM fields early into their educational adventures!

**Daniel Tellerman - Director of Growth**
Daniel has spent several years working in marketing and social media management. He started skateboarding in middle school, quickly falling in love with riding and teaching other first-timers how to skate. Daniel is a dedicated athlete, captaining the men's rowing team at his university where he is working towards his MBA. Since the beginning of Lectec, Daniel has been passionate about pushing modern schooling into the future by innovating STEM education.

**Jasper - CPO**
Chief Pawduct Officer: Our four-legged team member is at the heart of ensuring that every product Lectec launches is up to snuff. She reminds us that sometimes the best innovations come from simply having a playful heart and a loyal companion by our side.

Pat Smith

Pat has held C-level positions at Amplify, a leader in next generation curriculum and formative assessments, and XQ Institute.

Sabrina Wuu

Sabrina got her start as a middle school teacher and is now an ed-tech sales superhero with BrainPOP.

Chuck Garcia

Chuck is a professor at Columbia University, a leadership coach, best-selling author, and a master of emotional intelligence.

Mike Kleba

Mike is a high school teacher of 25+ years, author of best-selling book "Otherful", and leader in the NYC EdTech scene.

Michael Davis

Mike was a former high school science teacher, elected to city council, and is now serving as a chair for his city's sustainability commission.
